UIWE was formed in 2009 as a partnership between Fresh Web Services and UIME. Eddie (Fresh Web) and Ian (UIME) met while working on LiveLink projects for Leicestershire County Council. Subsequently Eddie and Ian continued to work together on other projects before combining their expertise in UIWE.
